Is JsRS easy to setup?

Question Not Solved

Standalone html

I have a question regarding client setup.

I have installed the server and proxy and everything works fine as long as I open html files that run on the same server as where the Proxy is.

So the setup is like this:

Proxy URL: http://x.x.x.x/Proxy/proxy.php

HTML URL: http://x.x.x.x/Javascript/index.html

What I would like is for clients to be able to open a html file that is located anywhere (even locally) and be able to connect to the proxy.

What I have tried is the following:

Created a copy of the html file locally, where I change the javascript include in the <head> tag to the following:

<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://x.x.x.x/Javascript/jsrs.js"></script>

Then I change the "proxy" parameter in the new Jrss({}) statement to "http://x.x.x.x/Proxy/proxy.php"

These approaches did not seem to make my program work as I would like.

Please help :)

... and thanks for a brilliant piece of software, by the way :)

Best regards,
